Austrian crystal house Swarovski has released its Autumn/Winter ’06 fashion accessories collection. Dubbed “Poetic Night”, the collection claims to draw its inspiration from “the depths of the night”. And indeed all the pieces—from bags to belts and bracelets to earrings and pendants—do make use of the subdued, almost muted colours more often associated with after dark. But this being Swarovski, the collection still manages to convey plenty of glamour and drama, with sparkles galore from jewellery that offers something for everyone, be they subtle or showy. It’s hardly stuff to be seen skulking in the shadows.
