Pastoral symphony

Lalique has launched it’s new collection for the Spring—based on the unlikely inspiration of the Garden of Eden. Bucolique is a whimsical collection of crystal bowls, vases, perfume bottles, candles and glasses. It also features two new colours—anise (yellow) and meadow green—added for the spring.

Bowls and vases come in three sizes and three colours. With the smallest bowl starting at just £115 and the smallest vase at £149, Lalique is hoping to attract new customers who might previously have found their products too expensive. They are also hoping to cash in on the booming gift sector, with scented candles starting at just £30. But true to form the latest collection also has it’s share of show stoppers, including the larger vases—which look stunning in a deep shade of the meadow green—but even these are reasonably priced at £1390.

The collection also includes more of the now familiar Lalique jewellery, with delightful dragonfly brooches, a bucolique pendant (which is designed to represent a dandelion flower), a stunning long crystal necklace and new colours for the much-coveted cabochon ring.

The collection will be available in March 2007.
