The fast and the fabulous

P1, the supercar club launched by ex-world champion racing driver Damon Hill, has announced a major investment in the range of cars available to members. The club, which allows members access to probably the UK's best fleet of supercars for a fraction of the cost of owning one, has just splashed out £1m to refresh its fleet. Included in this motoring spending spree was one of the first Ferrari 599 GTBs in the UK. Even if you could scrape together the £200,000 you'd need to purchase your own, there is an estimated three-year waiting list.

Alongside the new Ferarri in the P1 garage will be another new glamorous Italian in the form of the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. As well as two footballer-friendly convertible Bentley Continental GTCs, there's also a Jaguar XKR, an Aston Martin DB9 Sports Pack and a whole bunch of Porsches, including the glass-topped 997 Targa 4S, two 997 GT3s, a GT3 RS and updates for the club's 997 Turbo, Carrera S and Carrera S Cabriolet.
