Coeur de Cognac

Cognac has an odd reputation. It is seen as a drink for stuffy old men or hip, young rappers. Rémy Martin has shaken things further, with the launch of Coeur de Cognac. Pitched midway between VSOP and XO, Coeur de Cognac is a blend of Rémy's fruitier, more floral eaux de vie and as such is ideal with food. It's also best served over crushed ice, as the ice opens up its flavours, enhancing the drink. This makes it the perfect "summer cognac",  itself an unusual idea.

"For many people the world of cognac is too confusing," admits brand ambassador, Patrick Mariuz. "Coeur de Cognac is about welcoming new friends to Rémy Martin, but it is also about finding different times and different ways to enjoy Cognac. The floral notes, the apricot and peach, together with honey and vanilla, make Coeur a good match for food."
