15 May - 2 November, Museum in Docklands
If you happen to have a morbid fascination with murder and serial killers, Museum in Docklands is putting on a special exhibition exploring the Jack the Ripper murders and looking at why the tale continues to resonate 120 years on.
From police files and photographs to letters from the public and the supposed ripper himself, you can examine surviving documents and artefacts from the investigation and follow the crimes as they unfolded.
If you want to make a whole weekend of it, the London Marriot West India Quay Hotel, which is two minutes walk from the museum, is offering a Jack the Ripper weekend package with complimentary tickets to the exhibition.
