Cabaret

Following previews, Kander and Ebb's musical Cabaret is now open at the Lyric theatre. The new production directed by Rufus Norris stars Anna Maxwell Martin—last seen as Esther summerson in the BBC's Bleak House—plays the part of Kit Kat Klub singer Sally Bowles (that’s the part played by Liza Minnelli in the film). Sheila Hancock plays Fraulein Schneider.
